We have recently carried out the upgrade of the public address system at the old Vandervell Bearings factory in Kilmarnock.
Vandervell have been manufacturing the worlds finest engine bearings since the 1930’s. The Vandervell name became well known during the 1950’s when the company operated the Vanwall racing team with drivers such as Stirling Moss and Tony Brooks.
Eighty years later and Vandervell, now known as MAHLE, continue to succeed as a major world-wide supplier of racing bearings.
The Public Address System
The system is based on an Apart PM1122 mixer. The system provides ‘All Call’ paging from the site security microphone. In addition a DAB tuner provides background music to the production areas. Three QSC ISA300Ti power amplifier are used to provide six loudspeaker circuits of 300W each.
